CEO Roadshow

CEO Michael Sylvester recently presented all staff with a business update in both our Launceston and Hobart laundries. With finals looming, a footy analogy was perfect for this crowd of football fans. Michael told Team Blueline, “We’ve come off the bottom of the ladder. We’ve got the right people in place, we’ve improved our training, teamwork and match fitness to become a solid, well performing team. Now it’s time to think about what we need to do next to take Blueline to the top of the ladder, and make it into the grand finals next year.”

The teams were delighted to hear that despite the global pandemic, the business has had a positive result from the last financial year., and the future looks bright for the staff at Blueline.

Michael shared his plans to continue to improve safety, quality and efficiency by investing in plant and equipment, and information and communication technology systems. Blueline will continue its commitment to keeping workers safe in the work environment with enhanced hazard management and staff training.

Blueline will continue to engage with the community through our partnerships with other community groups, Tasmanian Government representatives and other stakeholders, friends and supporters.

And finally, Michael asked for everyone to share their own ideas how to make Blueline an even better place to work via the upcoming staff survey. The results will be out later this year.
